My Approach

Everybody is unique and every body is different. It’s not my place to decide what’s healthy or right for you — my role is to offer support and guidance in various ways to help you achieve your goals, one step at a time.

This can include:

Identifying a realistic and timely fitness goal and achievable milestones that we’ll monitor and celebrate together as you progress.

Helping you find joy in movement, and movements you enjoy.

Providing you with the information you need to make better choices around food, exercise, and rest in order to prioritize your health.

This can also include:

Strategizing ways to create new habits, from choosing to take the the stairs to drinking more water throughout the day.

Pushing you as little or as much as you need when you feel stuck or unmotivated.

Supporting you as you (re-)connect with your body.

Sometimes it’s also my role to encourage you in ways that don’t seem related to your fitness goal, but are intrinsically linked to your success and your results. This type of support can look like helping you to:

Set healthier boundaries in your life.

Note and release limiting beliefs about your body and your self-worth, and learn to separate the two.

Celebrate the ways you add to the world as a uniquely awesome person — independent of how you look or feel in your body.
